Rcut

Your rough cut,
done before you press play.

Rcut scans your footage, drops the blurry, shaky and dead moments, transcribes the dialogue — Greek included — and hands you an edit-ready timeline. All on your own computer.

What it does

Hours of sorting and cutting, reduced to a few clicks.

Smart rough cut

Detects blur, camera shake and silence per file, adapting to your footage, and keeps only the usable parts.

Transcript editing

Transcribe speech locally with Whisper. Click words to delete them and the matching footage is cut out for you.

Greek & many more languages

Works where cloud transcription doesn't. Export subtitles as SRT in one click.

Multicam merge

Combine XML timelines from several cameras into one synced, multi-track sequence.

Private by design

Everything is processed on your machine. Your footage never leaves your computer.

Standard XML output

Exports Final Cut Pro 7 XML that Premiere Pro imports directly, so it fits the workflow you already have.

How it works

Three steps, no learning curve.

Pick your footage

Choose a clip or a whole folder.

Run Rcut

It analyzes and cuts automatically. Fine-tune the settings if you like.

Edit from there

Open the timeline in Premiere and start the creative work.

Choose how you work

One engine, two ways to use it.
